After having had several white poodles, and with an Airedale Terrier and an apricot Standard Poodle at home, we decided to vary the breed a little by bringing home a baby parti-color Standard Poodle called "Alma de Olimpus-Red", and we couldn't have made a better decision...
Our Airedale Terrier had recently had a stroke, and Alma's arrival, with her playfulness and joy, helped a great deal with her recovery.
Imara and José's care from birth, handling and socialising her, made her a very well-balanced, gentle and obedient little dog, always attentive and ready to play with her ball or hunt hedgehogs or soft toys on walks.
A few months ago she passed away after a long battle with visceral leishmaniasis. We had been so happy with her that we turned to Imara again so we could have another of her female parti-color Standard Poodles, and we hope it will be soon.
